Sunil Misra is new IEEMA Director General

Sunil Misra has been appointed as the new Director General of IEEMA. Mr. Misra comes to IEEMA with a rich work experience of around 30 years, having worked in similar organisations for last 20 years. On his appointment as the Director General of IEEMA, Mr. Misra said, “I am proud to be a part of IEEMA. IEEMA is a 66 year old body representing the over ` 1.30 lakh crore Indian electrical equipment manufacturing industry which provides direct and indirect employment to over 1.5 million people. IEEMA is one of the most prominent industry associations of the country and is playing an important role in nation building. I am delighted to be a part of the efforts IEEMA is undertaking for enhancing the global competitiveness of the industry and I hope I will help them in their mission.”As the IEEMA Director General, Mr. Misra will represent IEEMA in various government and industry-led forums on policy, growth, economy, trade, commerce, and R&D related issues relevant for the overall growth of the Indian electrical equipment industry.
