Basic protection relays to monitor power system

Protection relays monitor abnormal power system conditions. They detect defective lines, defective apparatus/equipments and then initiates the appropriate control circuit action. They have an in built circuitry for protection function as well as an electromechanical relay. This circuit measures some value and can be set at a tripping point. Relays might have visual displays; its controlling can be via programming or via knobs. These relays are mainly categorised as:

Voltage sensing (protection) relays
Current sensing (protection) relays
Phase sensing (protection) relays

Rish Relay AR: RISH Relay – AR monitors AC current of a system/equipment and protects it from over current, undercurrent and current unbalance. As well as it indicates the occurrence of faults with help of LED indications. It is a potentiometer based relay thus it is easy to programme trip points and time delays.

Rish Relay PHR: RISH Relay-PHR monitors AC voltage of a system/equipment and protects it from phase failure issues. Suits applications such as control close loop operations, Conveyor system, motor protection from faults like incorrect phase sequence, unbalance in phase or loss of phase

Rish Relay VR: RISH Relay – VR monitors AC voltage of a system/equipment and protects it from overvoltage, under voltage and phase failure issues. As well as it indicates the occurrence of faults with help of LED indications.
